Before I begin, I would like to personally thank you for your time and interest in this blog. I am well aware of the importance of your time so I'll keep the components of this blog site as brief as possible.
My name is Joseph Sorensen. I am currently a graduate student in the Entertainment Business program offered by Full Sail University in Orlando, FL. I have always had a passion for the arts and an unquenchable curiosity for the way things are created.
This blog combines both of these areas of interest through the interviews with the professional individuals that I'm fortunate enough to speak with.
The reason why the title of this blog is spelled in the way it appears is because I am a recording/performing artist by the moniker of "Qwik Wittz." The title has been creatively constructed to inform my readers of the type of blog site it is, the expected length of each interview as well as being a working title to each new post. For the sake of providing an example, let's say that blog post number one will be titled "Qwik Interviews: Eminem." This title will inform my readers that Qwik (myself) is interviewing Eminem in that blog post.
I have experience in many aspects of the entertainment industry including audio engineering, songwriting, marketing & promotion, executive producing, project management as well as many more. I prefer elements of the pre-production process over post-production, but find both to be equally as interesting.
This blog is intended to provide insight into a variety of different aspects of the entertainment industry from professional sources located within.
